From Wednesday through Friday, I'll be attending the American Evaluation Association conference in Denver. As in past years, I'll be cartooning the event.
This year instead of writing a string of posts, I'll be building up just one (this one). When I have a new cartoon I'll update, so feel free to share this link (http://freshspectrum.com/eval14/) with friends and check back often. I'll also be sharing the cartoons on Twitter using the #eval14 hashtag.
If you see me at the conference, say hi! Comments welcome from attendees and those of you following along at home.
So bummed I won’t be at AEA this year – I was at the European Evaluation Society conference two weeks ago and couldn’t swing both of them this year. Can’t wait to hear from colleagues about all of the great things they learn! I hope someone else takes up the mantle of the EXCITED EVALUATORS TIG π WOO HOO!
That’s too bad Wendy but I can definitely understand choosing the trip to Europe. Someone may take up the mantle but will they go so far as to actually create the ribbon…
Thanks for creating this post, I too missed the conference this year, very sad I couldn’t make it!! At least I kept up with things online, thatnks for your work!
And thank you for the comment Elisa π
Thanks Chris! As always, your cartoons were brilliant and made the conference more entertaining, real, and memorable:)
Thanks Johanna,
It was nice seeing you out in Denver. A little side note, I’m always impressed by your team and it looks like you hired two more future rock stars.
Did not attend this event but run into this blog and loved the cartoons! Ha, ha:)
Thanks Sophia,
Always nice getting comments from my fellow Westatians π
Chris-
I have called myself an idealist pragmatist for years – long before I offically made the switch to being an evaluator. Correlation or causation? Hmmmmm……
Clearly you were destined to follow the path towards evaluation π
