I have been blogging about evaluation, research, and design for over 15 years.
Across my archives you’ll find guides, templates, reviews, and thousands of cartoons. I have always taught alongside my work.
Here in this library I’ll give you some of the highlights from my fully archive. If you’re a researcher, evaluator, data analyst, or in a related job I also encourage you to join our community. My email newsletter is the best way to learn about new resources, books, and webinars (the vast majority of which are free).
Free-to-Read Books
Right now I’m in the process of turning some my most popular workshops into free-to-read books. I’ve also adapted my last self-published book into the same free-to-read format. These are available for access and do not require any kind of login or email address.

Articles & Blog Posts
I’ve written hundreds of blog posts over the years. I plan to start putting together collections of my most popular or useful posts (more to come soon!). Until then, here is a link to my searchable blog archive.
Cartoons
In just about every blog post I also include hand drawn comics. If you’re interested in using my comics in your own blog posts, presentations, books, etc, you can find out more information in my Cartoon FAQ.
But if you’re looking for a place to start, this post is currently my biggest collection and features many audience favorites.
Before & After Posts
This is a series of real before and after designs. I take publicly available reports, frameworks, and resources and show exactly what’s possible when you give them the design treatment they deserve. I use them to showcase my process for potential clients, but I think they are also pretty good learning resources.
