My philosophy: It’s time to stop dumping good evaluation and research into dense PDFs that nobody reads. Most teams have all the talent and tools they need to do better, they just need someone with the right experience to show them the way.
The big mistake: Teams that want to improve their reports usually do one of two things.
- Hire a traditional designer. You pay an outsider to make a prettier PDF. Your strategy stays broken, your team learns nothing, and you have to hire them again next time.
- Pay for training. Your team spends a day or two learning how to use a tool, create nice charts, or make a prettier PDF. You still have a strategy problem and a couple days of training isn’t nearly the same as years of experience.
My alternative: The best of both worlds. You get an experienced mentor who understands both data and design. Someone who takes the time to understand your context, has built a process specifically designed to diagnose your specific challenges, and leads your team through a full transformation process.
The Outcome: Not only do we transform a product, we transform your team’s ability to do this on their own the next time. It’s a form of apprentice style capacity building in the digital age.

Dissemination Audit
Step 1. understand the problem.
I dig into your resources, identify audience gaps, and evaluate your dissemination approach. Then I deliver a report that tells you exactly what’s getting in the way and what I would do if I were you.
If you hire me for the transformation, the $3K comes off the price.
Guided Transformation
Step 2. improve your process.
We work together to transform one of your resources. By default I co-design with your team, so every project becomes a learning experience.
Guided transformations typically include 3 months of weekly training/strategy sessions and hands-on design support.
Strategy Session
Bring your team, your messy drafts, or your broken report to a high-intensity, 90-minute Zoom workshop. We skip the introductions and immediately build your triage roadmap.
If we move forward with a larger project, this $1,500 is fully credited toward your contract.
