How to not really evaluate, in 3 cartoons

David Henderson wrote a blog post last week about an answer to the following question: “If you had to choose between an evaluator or a marketer for your #nonprofit org, which would you pick and why?” His argument inspired these cartoons.

How to not really evaluate, in 3 cartoons. I am funded therefore I am. Start by believing you are doing good work, because you were funded.

@annkemery just curious, specifically, what made you laugh first? Was it the simplified logic model?

@clysy Yes, the logic model! I usually see “attend 5 afterschool sessions –> graduate HS” or “increased self esteem –> change the world.”

@AnnKEmery you can’t argue with that logic 🙂

@AnnKEmery @clysy Despite our reputation for serious work, we Westatians have great senses of humor. #JenniferHamilton #evaluation.
